Melissa Chapski
Melissa Chapski was born in Medfield, Massachusetts. In 2015 she graduated from the Ellison Ballet Professional Training Program in New York City under the mentorship of Erin Forrest and Edward Ellison. That same year she was awarded a gold medal at the Indianapolis International Ballet Competition and YAGP’s Boston semi-final, as well as a contract to Dutch National Ballet’s junior company at YAGP Finals. Melissa danced for nine years with the Dutch National Ballet in Amsterdam and the Bayerische Staatsballett in Munich.
Melissa’s noteworthy repertoire includes the Sugar Plum Fairy in both the Balanchine and Petipa version of The Nutcracker Ballet, the title role in Vaganova’s La Gioconda, Zulma in Giselle, Emeralds, Rubies, Diamonds in George Balanchine’s Jewels, plus Symphony in Three Movements and Giselle. Melissa is excited about her upcoming debuts in George Balanchine’s Nutcracker as Dew Drop and Arabian Coffee with Oregon Ballet Theatre.
Sava Milojevic
Sava Milojevic was born in Serbia where he began his ballet training at age 11. Throughout his professional career he has worked for nine seasons with notable companies in Europe as the Bavarian State Ballet and the Stuttgart Ballet. Sava has also been awarded numerous medals at Serbian National Ballet competitions.
Some of Sava’s favorite roles include Ali in Le Corsaire, Cavalier in The Nutcracker, the four boys in George Balanchine’s Rubies; the Pas de Six in Swan Lake and George Balanchine’s Allegro Briliante. Sava has made numerous international guest appearances in Europe, Asia and North America. He enjoyed performing the Gopak Variation and the Don Quixote Pas de Deux in a Gala dedicated to Rudolph Nureyev in Athens, Greece.
